About Us

Caribbean Choice & Varieties is a retail and wholesale company specializing  in Caribbean and African foods, drinks and other items associated with the Caribbean Islands and their cultures. Founded by Kenroy Francis and his family in 2016, the company soon flourished from it's grocery store roots to become a wholesale distributor and also offers retail and online sales of Caribbean and African ingredients and supplies.

Shipping

Our shipping carrier is the United States Postal Service. Our goal is to ship all orders within the same business day if orders are placed before 2:00 PM US Eastern Time.

 In order to ensure freshness depending on items ordered and outdoor conditions we may delay shipment due to long/holiday weekends, travel conditions and other situations that may damage products during shipment.  

A tracking number will be sent to the email address used during the ordering process so customers can follow shipping progress.

Returns/Refunds

We cannot accept returns or refund shipments that have left our facility. If an incorrect item or incorrect quantity of an item was shipped we will fulfill the balance of the order or refund the value of the incorrect or missing item(s) at our sole discretion

Cancellation Policy 

The only time an order can be cancelled is if the cancellation request is received by 12:00 noon Eastern Time on the day the order is to be shipped. If the order is placed before noon on the same day, the order can usually be cancelled. If the order was placed after 2:00 PM it will usually be shipped the following business day, and can be cancelled up until noon on the next business day. A "Business Day" is defined as one when the US Postal Service offices are open and pickup/deliveries are taking place. Although our store is open on Sundays and some holidays, if the USPS is not picking up or delivering it is not considered a business day for the purposes of this policy.

Damage

If a package arrives damaged please report the damage to the carrier at the time of delivery. We will do our best to provide replacement or reimbursement of properly documented damage cases. Damage or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery as recorded by package tracking.

The customer is responsible for promptly opening and inspecting the package and placing the contents in appropriate storage locations as necessary depending on the items ordered.
